The first Chinese Calligraphy Display and Huichun organised by the Thomson CC Chinese Calligraphy Special Interest Group (C3SIG) was held on 1 Feb 2015 from 2 pm to 5 pm at Thomson Community Club's 3rd floor. Huichun is a Chinese customs to write auspicious messages on red paper to usher in the Chinese New Year and hopefully to evict bad spirits from the home premises.
At the end of the event, more than 200 pieces of auspicious messages and new year couplets have been given away free to the residents.
